We’re thrilled to finally be able to announce that we are expecting a new Dakesian! If you’ve seen us out and about on tour or at a show you may already know the very exciting news that Amie and her partner are expecting a baby girl in mid-September!

Amie and her bump have already completed a tour and numerous shows and festivals, but by the time we play the Hobgoblin New Blood stage at Bloodstock Open Air in August, she will be 8 1/2 months pregnant. However she has no plans whatsoever to sit out what will be one of our biggest shows to date!

We are all absolutely thrilled to be welcoming a new member to our Dakesis family, and fully support Amie’s absolute badassery in continuing with all band commitments throughout pregnancy and beyond. Although we will be taking a break from touring for September and October to allow us all to spend some time with our new best friend, we will be performing at The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton with PowerQuest on 27/10/17 and we are in the process of booking a huge UK tour in November with a very exciting co-headliner (more on that very soon!)
